· Working in high snow zones requiring special design considerations including structural and controls
· Creative structural and foundation approaches to protect materials in highly corrosive soils
· Designing foundations for projects located in extensive flood zones in order to combat rapid and episodic erosion and scour
· Novel designs for projects located on islands with extreme high-velocity winds
The companys geographical reach in 2014 again matched previous years with projects located in southern and northern California, Utah, Hawaii, Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina and Texas.
Blymyer Engineers clients for 2014 include work on projects for Swinerton Renewable Energy, Solar World, First Solar, SPower, 8 Minute Energy Renewables, Black and Veatch, Recurrent Energy, Op Terra, Sun Edison, Parsons and more.
The company is pushing the boundaries in renewable energy technologies and in 2015 is rapidly forging significant associations and partnerships in leading-edge technologies such as battery storage, CNG/LNG fueling, biofuels, cogeneration projects and hydrogen fuel cells.
