Restart of Scheuten Solar

Curator Wim Eikendal of law firm Boels Zanders has come to an agreement for the takeover of various parts of Scheuten Solar. This is the result of the efforts carried out during the last couple of weeks. On February 29, various parts of Scheuten Solar were filed for suspension.

Commercial activities
The commercial activities of Scheuten Solar, namely the international sales offices and projects business (development, realization and operation & maintenance) are taken over by Sunway Technology Investment Co. Ltd. With this takeover, these commercial activities are secured. There are 32 employees issued for a job guarantee.
Optisol and Sunrise R&D
Regarding Optisol sales, projects and production (special glass-glass building integrated solar panels) and Sunrise R&D (thin film technology) negotiations regarding a takeover are in an advanced stage.
The expectation is that this week there will be an agreement regarding the restart of these business units.
Gelsenkirchen
Negotiations regarding the future of the solar module production facility in Gelsenkirchen are ongoing.
