Samsun Completed the Largest Solar Plant in Turkey
Samsun Büyükşehir Belediyesi, owner of the 57.28MW solar plant located in the Ladik district, announced the completion of Turkey’s largest solar power plant (SPP) on March 20,2024.

“The 57.28MW project will produce 90 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually,” introduced by S.Furkan ŞAHİN, Inspector said, “The project was financed by T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. (Ziraat Bank) on May 15, 2023 with 47.43 million USD non-recourse financing. We use high efficiency bifacial solar modules provided by Phono Solar on the project. And a total number of 125,901 Phono Solar Bifacial 455W modules were installed. With our solar power plant, we prevent 43,000 tones of carbon dioxide emissions per year. ”
