This membership, which is one more proof of Senersun’s commitment to reduce its environmental footprint, will enable the recycling of the company’s solar panels. Senersun has always regarded the protection of the environment as a priority throughout its development.

Since its creation, the company has put in place stringent in-house assessments and recycling programs, to monitor and control its environmental impact upstream. Senersun now joins the other members of the CERES program, which already accounts for more than 150,000 tons of end-of-life solar panels to be recycled.

Alexandre Minuzzo, Senersun’s CEO, commented this new membership: “As a European company involved in renewable energies, we strive to make solar panels a real long-term solution for the production of clean electricity, be it at a small or a larger scale.

“The recycling of solar panels will play a considerable part in solar energy’s ability to prove its environmental-friendliness in the coming years, and it was for us a priority to show our commitment to participate to that process. Being a non-for-profit association created under the French law, CERES proved to be the best solution for us, with their proximity to Senersun’s core markets and a desire to remain independent.”
