Senersun has signed a contract with a Belgian local partner securing the supply of 10 MW worth of solar panels. Under this contract, Senersun will deliver more than 4,000 of its perfect-for-rooftops All Black modules, which will be used for residential applications across the Benelux region throughout 2012.
Following this agreement, Senersun has opened a Benelux office in Luxembourg, further increasing the companys presence in Europe.
This contract and the following creation of a Benelux office is one more proof of the companys ability to keep momentum despite difficult market conditions. The newly-opened Senersun office will help the company monitor closely the good execution of this 10 MW contract, and enable its team to offer a more localized marketing support and a better after-sales service to its growing customer base in the region.
Walter Van Loon, Sales and Marketing Director of Senersun, comments this new step: We have been working hard in 2011 to maintain a strong growth even if the global demand for PV was not as high as expected. We wanted to wait for the right moment before further expanding our presence in Europe, and securing this 10MW contract for 2012 gave us the sign that there is still a lively market in the Benelux region.
Jens Van Hove, appointed at the head of the recently-opened office, adds: Im very excited and confident about the creation of an office in the Benelux region, where our Black panels proved to be a hit in 2011. Together with my team, we will provide our existing and future customers with a more localized service, and will further develop our business activity in 2012, delivering Senersuns unique quality to an increasing number of local partners.
