The S:Flex 12-Kit includes all components required for 12 framed photovoltaic modules in portrait, conveniently packaged in a secure compact box. This allows for a hassle-free installation of all common module array combinations on pitched roofs.
Pre-assembled parts such as universal height-adjustable Module Clamps – with the patented ‘click-technology and rail sizes for modules up to a width of 40.3, reduce the time on the roof. Furthermore, every S:Flex 12-Kit contains the innovative, tool-free, UL-certified Bonding Splice. It allows for one, quick and easy step to integrate mechanical and electrical splicing between rails. The pre-assembled Bonding Splice simply slides into the rails. No additional expensive bonding jumpers or grounding lugs are required. It can be used for all roof types including composite shingles, roof tiles or corrugated metal sheets on various roof substructures like wooden trusses or steel beams.
Each S:Flex 12-Kit is perfectly adapted for location-specific wind, snow, and seismic load requirements. Pre-stamped letters are available and meet or exceed IBC 2012 standards and are compliant with all current codes and standards.
The pre-packaged, S:Flex 12-Kits are readily available at S:Flex and at their distribution partners. Orders placed before 12 PM will leave the same day. The shorter rails ensure compact package size, extremely low shipping costs and easy storage.
