Mr. Mr. Saeed M. Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer, ADNOC Distribution and Mr. Eiji Hiraoka, Senior Executive Director, JCCP signed the MOA witnessed by Mr. Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, Marketing, Sales and Trading Director of ADNOC Group and a member of the Board of ADNOC Distribution.
Among some 30 participants of the ceremony, HE Mr. Kanji Fujiki, the Japanese Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Mr. Ryota Seno, the General Manager of Abu Dhabi Branch Office, Cosmo Engineering. In the project, they build a solar power pilot facility with a capacity of 53.55 KW at the Yas North Service Station of ADNOC Distribution (one of major service stations in Abu Dhabi) to monitor the operation of power generation and evaluate its performance. It will be the first-ever service station in Abu Dhabi installed small power generation equipment directly connected to the national power grid.
JCCP and ADNOC group have established solid relationship through a lot of programs, and this project, notably, will be the first joint cooperation project with ADNOC Distribution, a new chapter in the history of our cooperation. The project will be implemented from FY 2018 to FY 2022.
