The inaugural conference takes place June 4-6 at the UN Headquarters in New York.

Kerry Adler, SkyPower's president and chief executive officer, will speak as a panelist with other global leaders on the "Doubling the Share of Renewables in the Global Energy Mix" Global Leaders Panel, moderated by Matthew Bishop, The Economist's U.S. business editor and New York bureau chief.

SkyPower is committed to helping bring clean, green energy solutions to developing countries around the globe. Over the past decade, the SkyPower team has built strategic global partnerships with local developers, international leaders, local communities and indigenous peoples around the world, fostering relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

"SkyPower is proud to co-sponsor this groundbreaking United Nations initiative. I look forward to sharing SkyPower's commitment to help address poverty through solar energy," said Kerry Adler, SkyPower's president and chief executive officer. "SkyPower is dedicated to help architect and chart the future of sustainable energy with other thought leaders from around the world."

In addition to developing utility-scale solar power parks around the globe, SkyPower, through its corporate sustainability initiative, donates a portion of its profits earned from solar energy purchased by countries around the world to help educate children and empower communities in those countries where electricity can make a difference.

The SE4ALL Forum features prominent figures, including UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim. The three-day conference is also attended by heads of state, ministers of foreign affairs, invited CEOs of the private sector and leaders of civil society active in sustainable energy issues. The UN Decade of Sustainable Energy for All (2014-2024) will officially launch on June 5.
