Smart Energy Group is 'solar energy company of the year'

Smart Energy Group, a leading renewable energy investment and EPC company was named one of the winners at the CEE Energy Awards Gala 2014, in Warsaw, Poland.

Smart Energy received the CEE Energy Award in the Solar Energy Company of the Year category for its past three years' performance as an EPC company on PV plants.

Some 16 companies were distinguished at the annual CEE Energy Award event that took place on May 29.

The ceremony was attended by more than 125 key executives active in the energy sector, from nine countries across the CEE region including Romania, Lithuania, Germany and the Czech Republic as well as Australia, the U.S., Canada, Spain, Portugal and the UK.

Smart Energy Group has operations in Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Turkey. The company owns around 40 MW of operational PV parks and has successfully completed more than 80 PV parks in the region. The company has a project development pipeline of approx. 350 MW in the region.
