The user-friendly SDS Solar-Log product range monitors PV systems reliably and accurately and also offers intelligent solutions in the sectors of smart energy and feed-in management.
An essential, unique selling point of Solar-Log is also its inverter independence. According to a study carried out by GTM Research (Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.) and SoliChamba Consulting (San Francisco, California, U.S.) into the global PV monitoring software market, Solar-Log is the market leader amongst independent software vendors (ISV) in the residential and commercial sectors.
Sales of this product range are increasing worldwide in more than 80 countries: In the Indian market, for example, SDS has been active for two years and already operates 1,000 data loggers. These data loggers monitor systems with a capacity in excess of 30MWp. They thus focus on the commercial segment, Rooftop. For this performance, Solare Datensysteme GmbH (SDS) received the Solar India Award 2016 in the category Solar Project Monitoring Technology Company of the Year.
Silvia Blumenschein-Schuetz (Solar-Log VP Sales) and Nitin M. Bhosale (Country Manager Solar-Log India) attended the award ceremony and accepted the award. The course for the further development of PV monitoring in India has been set. We are delighted that we have been able to make a contribution and are grateful for this fantastic award, says Silvia Blumenschein-Schuetz.
An important goal of the company is to gradually expand its team in the country, including its technical support staff. This shows how highly SDS is motivated to address an Indian market, which is estimated to reach a total capacity of 100 GWp to be monitored by the year 2022.
