Solarity celebrated its tenth anniversary in the second half of this September. On this special occasion, the company organized a conference detailing a comprehensive program for our employees and partners at the Vienna House Hotel in Prague's Anděl. All accompanying activities started on Wednesday 15 September with a workshop for employees which continued until Friday 17 September.
An all-day workshop took place on Wednesday, September 15, with the aim of acquainting and connecting individual employees from different countries and departments while working together on vital topics and talking points for the company geared towards further development.
The second day of the Solarity Anniversary celebrations began on Thursday, September 16, with a conference for our partners.
The vision was clear from the get-go: to bring together experts from the sector, to discuss current trends in photovoltaics, and most importantly, to share common experiences.
A journey into a future powered by solar energy
An important part of the conference was focused on ESS and E-mobility solutions. This topic was introduced by various experts not only from Solarity's own ranks, but also professionals of the sector from Solax, Fenecon, SolarEdge, and Lukáš Hataš, the director of the Czech Association for Electromobility. On the trends and technologies of the ESS, Ing. Ladislava Černá, PhD, from the Department of Electrotechnology also spoke at length. The latest trends and technologies of PV modules were also further discussed with Johanna Bonilla, Technical Service Manager for the EU from Jinko Solar.
In the afternoon, conference participants could choose from several training modules divided according to residential and commercial projects. In-Room A, lectures on residential solutions from Jinko Solar, SolarEgde and Solax Power took place, and in Room B, speakers from Canadian Solar, Fronius and Fenecon could take part and listen to those interested in commercial projects.
Even with the evaluation of the questionnaire/survey that the audience completed during the day, we are happy to say that this was a highly successful event, not only focused on celebrating the company's 10 year mark but also to relaunch the always crucial discussion on solar energy and sustainability. We believe that this event was a significant success and a great opportunity for all those that took part.
