The buyer is a Berlin-based family office. The power plant, located in the small town of Orta Nova, has an annual output of just under 4,000 megawatt hours of electricity. This output is sufficient to power 1,050 homes and save approx. 2,800 tons of CO2 emissions every year.
Solon built the frame-mounted system on 10 ha of former agricultural land in just over three months. DF Holding GmbH secured and prepared the site for construction while Solon was in charge of the planning, construction and project management.
The power plant was connected to the grid at the end of August and is therefore subject to the Conto Energia IV feed-in tariff. The sale also includes a five-year service and maintenance agreement for Solon.
