Sungrow confirms strategic partnership with Sunpin Solar

Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sunpin Solar LLC at SPI 2013 in Chicago, Illinois, USA, regarding of the upcoming orders including 22 MW PV inverters.

The Finance Minister and governor’s assistant of Illinois were both present to witness this signing ceremony. As an influential EPC/developer of PV power plants in the US solar industry, Sunpin Solar LLC purchased Sungrow’s inverters exclusively for the 2 MW PV plant in Chicago, which is the largest rooftop PV project throughout the country and kept stable power generation since its completion.

Sunpin Solar is determined to continue using SUNGROW brand inverters in the following eight PV projects, owing to the congenial cooperation at previous project.

“This consociation with Sunpin Solar indicates that Sungrow has already won widely acceptance from the core customers in the US PV market and our expansion is very likely to go more smoothly as we can picture,” Mr. Zheng Guibiao, V.P. of Sungrow, said.

Sungrow’s global market share of PV inverters is increasing with each passing year. According to IHS/GTM Research, Sungrow was ranked the 3rd largest PV inverter manufacturer in the world in 2012 by MW shipped.
