For the 5th consecutive year, The meeco Group takes part in this event, partnering with GILDEMEISTER energy solutions. Showcased at Hall C4 / Booth 230, will be the latest solar, wind and energy storage technologies.

At Intersolar Europe 2011, GILDEMEISTER energy solutions and The meeco Group will unveil a new full-scale EV (Electric Vehicle) charging station combining the new SunCarrier 70 tracking system and WindCarrier, the new vertical wind turbine as well as the well-known cellcube, Vanadium Redox energy storage solution. “Since last year, global energy supply concerns have significantly favored the development and use of renewable energies in our daily lives. This 100 percent renewable EV charging station is living proof that the technology and know-now exist,” says Dieter Trutschler, Director Marketing & Sales of The meeco Group.

Despite the recent and unexpected European PV markets events, with French, the UK and then Italian governments seriously altering their Feed-in Tariff policies, The meeco Group remains confident that business will pick up again as global module prices continue to decrease.

“In mature solar markets, we all know the grid parity is extremely close. In young and unexploited markets such as the Americas, Africa and Asia, off-grid solar power competes directly with rising fuel prices in remote areas – there have never been so many opportunities for solar out there,” states Dieter Trutschler. For The meeco Group, Intersolar is the trigger to a good start into the next business year, with most new product launches happening at this time and clients coming from all over the world to see them.

Finally, MUENCH Racing, the 2010 e-Power World champion in motorbike racing, sponsored by Schott Solar, Gildemeister (DMG) and The meeco Group will also be present at the GILDEMEISTER energy solutions booth with the latest MUENCH electric motorbike. “After a first year full of successes, winning both World Championship Titles, the team continues to lead the FIM E-Power racing Championship both in the Pilot and Manufacturer categories, we are proud to keep the legend alive,” says Thomas Petsch, President of MUENCH Motorbikes.
