With the foundation of MHH Solar Danmark ApS with headquarters in Svendborg, the company continues to build on its market position in one of the most promising markets in Europe for photovoltaic products.

Since the passage of the new Danish climate plan in 2011, Denmark has developed an attractive solar market. The goal of this plan is to expand the generation of electricity from renewable energies to 50% of the overall Danish energy mix by 2020. The combination of high grid-electricity costs for end user and the emergence of intelligent solutions for the personal use of self generated energy has convinced both private end users as well as many companies and communities of the benefits of generating electricity from solar energy.

MHH Solar Danmark, with acting director Henrik Borreby, is a 100% subsidiary of MHH Solartechnik GmbH. Henrik Borreby has been active in the PV-industry for many years. After holding executive positions at REC Solar Deutschland and Moser Baer Solar Limited, Borreby founded a company that specialized in the planning, consulting and sale of photovoltaic systems. All of these experiences have provided Borreby with well-founded knowledge of the photovoltaic industry as a whole, and the Danish market in particular.

MHH Solar Danmark ApS focuses its business primarily on installers, and provides all of the necessary components for complete photovoltaic systems, such as modules, inverters, mounting systems, and a wide range of accessory equipment.

Günter Haug, managing director of MHH Solartechnik GmbH, is sure that, “the combined experience of MHH Solartechnik in Germany and Henrik Borreby’s know-how in Denmark provide us with significant competitive advantages on Danish photovoltaic market.“

The new Danish subsidiary can be reached at the following address: MHH Solar Danmark ApS, Forskerparken, Kullinggade 31 E, 5700 Svendborg, Denmark.
