Unisun announces grid connection for 19.59 MW PV project in Romania

The Dej, Setra and Clue plants have installed capacities of 5.98 MW, 6.4 MW and 7.14 MW, respectively.

The 19.59 MW project is co-invested by Unisun and Zhejiang International Trade New Energy Investment. Unisun Energy GmbH, the German division of Unisun, serves as the EPC contractor, and the Romanian division of Unisun is responsible for green certificate sales, operations and maintenance. The three plants are expected to generate up to 8 million euros in electricity and subsidy revenues annually.

The plant in Dej, Cluj, Romania is expected to generate 7 million kWh of electricity annually, meeting the daily power needs of at 4,000 local households. The Setra and Clue plants in Brasov, Romania, with a combined capacity of 13.54 MW, are expected to generate 15 million kWh of electricity annually, meeting the daily power needs of 10,000 local households.

From design to construction supervision, the three plants, based on a Germany's PV power plant construction management system, are led by a German project team.
