Bisol Group is one of the leading European producers of photovoltaic modules and other solar solutions, which has it production based in Slovenia. On Monday extensive rain, which occurred throughout the Slovenian territory, resulted in many flooded areas, amongst them Bisol Group’s warehouse.

Water began to penetrate the building from sewage drains and then through the floors of the warehouse, and in just an hour and half achieved a height of 1.5 meters. The warehouse stored both finished products and raw material. According to first assessments there is only material damage with a rough estimation of 2 million euros.

As Bisol Group’s production facility is on higher ground level it was unaffected by the flood and continues according to plan. The company is doing everything in their power to keep inconveniences to a minimum and has already taken necessary measures to ensure a smooth continuation of operations. Regardless of the circumstances, Bisol Group confirms it will continue to deliver strictly best quality products in line with the expectations for the Bisol brand.
