Solare Datensysteme GmbH (SDS) will be presenting a number of new features and enhancements for the Solar-Log monitoring system at the PVSEC 2012 in Frankfurt from 25 to 28 September.

Managing plants with more than 100 kWp: energy supply company specific solutions with the Solar-Log PM+. With plants larger than 100 kWp, a confirmation of the current amount of feed-in power is required. For this reason, grid operators often employ remote control technology for this process. And almost every distribution grid operator stipulates their own signalization variant in the technical connection requirements (TAB, Germany).

To fulfill the requirements from a particular grid operator, Solare Datensysteme GmbH offers the grid company specific solutions, which – depending on the requirements – consists of the Solar-Log1000 PM+, PM-Package (including Solar-Log I/O Box and PM+ Profil) and Solar-Log Utility Meter.

The Utility Meter regulates the variable supply of reactive power through the function Q(V) and relays the current amount of feed-in power to the I/O Box, which in turn transmits it to the remote control technology and relays the control commands from the grid operator back to the Data Logger.
