WHES at Key Energy 2026 – Driving the Future of Energy Storage

Share

For WHES, Key Energy once again proved to be an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing partners while building new connections in the European market. Our team welcomed many visitors to the WHES booth, where discussions focused on the growing role of energy storage in enabling renewable integration, improving grid stability, and supporting more efficient energy management.

As renewable generation continues to expand across Europe, flexible and reliable storage solutions are becoming essential for balancing supply and demand, optimizing energy usage, and ensuring grid resilience.

Showcasing the WHES C&I Energy Storage Portfolio

At Key Energy 2026, WHES presented a comprehensive portfolio of Commercial & Industrial, Residential, and Utility-scale energy storage solutions, designed to support a wide range of applications and energy infrastructures.

For C&I applications, visitors explored:

PC-G1 (100kW / 233kWh) – a scalable C&I energy storage platform designed for peak shaving, energy optimization, and reliable backup power, helping businesses reduce energy costs and improve operational resilience.

PC-mini (29.9-50kW / 57-100kWh) – a compact yet powerful solution ideal for smaller commercial and light industrial installations where flexibility and efficient deployment are key.

For Utility-scale applications, WHES highlighted PA-3.0EU (744-1488kW / 1490-2980kWh), our advanced Utility Energy Storage System designed to support large-scale grid applications and renewable integration.

In addition, WHES presented WHES OS, our intelligent EMS, which enables monitoring, control, and optimization of energy storage systems while providing real-time visibility into energy flows and system performance.

Residential Energy Storage for Smarter Homes

WHES also showcased its residential portfolio, designed to empower homeowners with smarter and more reliable energy management.

PP-T1 (5–13kW / 9.98–29.9kWh) a three-phase all-in-one system which combines hybrid inverter technology with modular battery storage to help households increase self-consumption.

PP-S2 (3.6–6kW / 5.12–10.24kWh) a single-phase system that offers a flexible storage solution for everyday household energy management with backup capabilities.

Completing the lineup, the Battery Box provides a modular and scalable battery system for safe and reliable energy storage across residential and light commercial applications.

More Than Technology on Display

One of the highlights of the event was a presentation session led by Valerio Covicchio, together with our partner BayWa r.e. Solar Distribution Italy, exploring the Italian energy storage market and the growing role of BESS in C&I applications.

At the booth, WHES also hosted an aperitivo, creating a relaxed setting for partners and visitors to continue conversations and strengthen collaborations.

Powering What Comes Next

Key Energy 2026 once again confirmed the growing importance of energy storage across Europe’s evolving energy landscape. Thank you to everyone who visited the WHES stand in Rimini and shared valuable conversations with our team.

As the transition toward a more sustainable and resilient energy system accelerates, WHES remains committed to developing innovative storage solutions that support partners, customers, and communities worldwide. We look forward to continuing these discussions and meeting many of you again at upcoming industry events.
