WINAICO provides 850 kWp solar plant in South Africa with its modules

3.400 WINAICO WSP-250P6 solar modules have been installed on the roof of a steal treatment company. The power produced by the system installed on the building of the steal treatment company Fast Flame Processing in Alberton is exclusively used for personal consumption.

While the cost per kWh is about 0,03 EUR/kWh, the annual yield is about 2.100 kWh/kWp. "The annual UV irradiation is very high in South Africa. All the more important it is to count on the right components of a solar system. Even under such conditions our photovoltaic modules perform as forecasted or even better. We feel confident that this solar plant will perform outstandingly even in 25 years," said Sascha Rossmann, vice president of Global Sales bei WINAICO.

The quality and performance of WINAICO’s polycrystalline module series has already been proven several times; for example with their good results acheived at the Desert Knowledge Australia Solar Centre demonstration facility and at the solar module test of the Australian National University.
