ZOE Energy Storage has signed contracts for a new batch of commercial & industrial energy storage projects in Mexico, marking continued momentum in one of the world's most dynamic energy transition regions and another step forward in its global expansion.

The projects will deploy ZOE's Z BOX C-PLUS 261 series, engineered for C&I applications with a smart liquid cooling system that delivers high efficiency, energy density, and longer cycle life. Operating across an ultra-wide temperature range, the system features an IP55 anti-corrosion rating and multi-layer safety protection—including pack-level fire suppression—making it suitable for diverse scenarios.

For years, industrial and commercial users across Latin America have struggled with volatile electricity prices and unstable grids that disrupt production. ZOE's solution tackles these challenges head-on. The Z BOX C-PLUS 261 uses an intelligent energy management system to charge during off-peak hours and discharge during peak periods, optimizing energy use and reducing costs. With seamless on-grid/off-grid switching and black start capabilities, it switches to off-grid mode within milliseconds during grid failures, ensuring continuous operation of critical loads.

“This Mexican order validates ZOE's ‘global presence with deep market cultivation' strategy,” said the head of ZOE's international business. “We're becoming a trusted energy partner by building local presence, understanding customer needs, and integrating products, solutions, and services. Latin America holds immense potential, and this project accelerates our expansion.”

In 2025, ZOE accelerated globalization with a European factory and innovative channel partnerships. This latest Latin American project opens the new year strong, demonstrating ZOE's innovation-driven, region-focused strategy.
