Where: conference area of PV Taiwan, in cooperation with SEMI and Taitra
When: October 20, morning
Organized in cooperation with SEMI Taiwan, the 8th pv magazine Quality Roundtable will be held at the PV Taiwan exhibition, which runs from October 18 to October 20. The roundtable will focus on a range of quality topics, not least the issue of ensuring quality and reliability of solar modules and components in climates that are humid and often volatile.
Another key theme will be examining ways to deliver cost reduction while adopting state-of-the-art cell and module technologies. Because Taiwan is a relatively new player on the installation side – with ambitious targets – quality assurance will be another very important topic. pv magazine wants to initiate a change of mind-set with a highly interactive discussion between EPCs and cell- and module-technology experts, touching upon ways to introduce efficiency gains into the solar architecture and futureproofing the cost of PV plant development. The discussions will be applicable to all types of potential solar PV installation, be they large-scale arrays, rooftop installations or smart energy systems.
