EU Commission recommends two-year extension of solar tariffs against China, MIP to be lowered

The proposed extension of trade measures on solar panels and cells imported into the EU from China would represent a severe blow to the sector, says SolarPower Europe. EU ProSun, however, welcomes the recommendation. Minimum Import Price to be reduced in 2017.

MEPs urge European Commission to end solar trade duties

A total of 22 Members of European Parliament, including the vice-chair of the Energy Committee of the European Parliament, co-sign a letter addressed to the European Commission calling for the removal of antidumping and anti-subsidy duties against Chinese solar components.
