SB Energy, a subsidiary of Japanese telecoms group SoftBank, has revealed plans to build a 102.3 MW solar project in northern Japan, backed by 27 MWh of lithium ion storage capacity.
Property developer Tokyu Land has revealed plans to pair 92 MW of solar with 25.3 MWh of lithium-ion storage capacity on the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido, in cooperation with Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance and Green Power Development Corp. of Japan.
The Tokyo-based developer and MUL Energy Investment — a unit of Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance — have purchased a project company from conglomerate Marubeni.
