Canasia Solar plans 200 MW PV manufacturing facility in Ontario; 100s jobs to be created

The plant will initially have a 50 megawatt (MW) per annum capacity and will expand to a total build-out of 200 MW.
The initial facility will create over 100 jobs in Southern Ontario region and will grow to add over 500 jobs when it reaches full capacity, says the company.
Canasia Solar Corp. plans to export the majority of its production to international markets, particularly India and the Middle East.
Canasia Power Corp. has been active as a private power developer for over 17 years and has expressions of interest (both letters of support and memorandums of understanding) for over 750 MW of solar energy development from India and Saudi Arabia.
