UK: Hanwha supplies modules to 16 MW of PV parks

Hanwha SolarOne shipped 16 MWp worth of its modules to projects in the U.K. Part-owned and operated by Germany-based ib vogt, the 6.2 MWp Langunnett PV Park located in Cornwall is scheduled to be grid connected this month. The 9.8 MWp Manston PV Park in Kent is also on track to be completed in the next week.

The two companies first worked together in the U.K. market last autumn, when Hanwha SolarOne supplied ib vogt with a total of 10 MWp of modules for the Wellow PV Park on the Isle of Wight and the PV Park Oving in Sussex, worth 5 MW each.

"Hanwha SolarOne will continue to work closely with investors, developers and EPCs for the realization of more large scale PV projects worldwide," stated MaengYoon Kim, managing director of Hanwha SolarOne GmbH.
