Brazil now has 250 MW of solar under net metering

According to data from Brazilian association ABSOLAR, Brazil currently has 27,803 solar PV systems connected to the grid, which benefit 32,924 consumer units and total more than BRL 1.9 billion (around $515 million) in accumulated investments since 2012.

Enel to expand its Mexican mega-projects by 96 MW

Brazil allocates 806 MW of solar in A-4 auction, final average price drops to $35.2/MWh

Around 20 GW of solar PV projects were initially competing in the contest. PV was again the source with the largest share, accounting for around 80% of total assigned capacity. The final average price for solar was 118 BRL (US$35.2)/MWh.
