Soitec acquires US manufacturing facility for CPV modules

Soitec has acquired a new manufacturing facility in San Diego from Sony Electronics Inc. in order to manufacture its concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) modules. The move marks an investment of over US$150 million and is expected to create 450 new onsite jobs.
