The annual flagship exhibitions of the energy industry, Energy Taiwan and Net-Zero Taiwan, will take place from October 29-31, 2025, at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 (TaiNEX 1). Co-organized by TAITRA and GESA (Green Energy and Sustainability Alliance) under SEMI, these exhibitions align with global trends in AI technology and sustainable development. This year’s focus centers on four critical areas: energy transition, diversified renewable energy, high-tech energy storage, and deep energy saving, creating the industry’s most comprehensive green energy business platform.

Energy Taiwan Drives Forward Energy Transition

The International Energy Agency’s (IEA) recent Energy and AI report reveals that global electricity demand from data centers will double by 2030, with renewable energy expected to power half of the increased electricity consumption by 2035. Energy Taiwan capitalizes on these global energy market trends by connecting upstream and downstream supply chains within the green energy industry. The exhibition showcases the latest technologies and application solutions across four key areas: PV, Wind Energy, Smart Storage, and Emerging Power.

Geothermal and hydrogen energy have emerged as major focal points in recent developments. Hydrogen energy applications in industrial decarbonization, transportation, and energy storage have created substantial business opportunities. Meanwhile, geothermal power generation is positioned for significant growth. Google’s recent signing of the first geothermal electricity purchase agreement in the Asia-Pacific region with Taiwan signals strong potential for geothermal energy to become the next breakthrough in energy transition. Recognizing the promising market potential of emerging energy sources, Emerging Power Taiwan will showcase cutting-edge technologies including hydrogen energy, geothermal, small hydro, and biomass energy. The exhibition explores new energy market opportunities while driving Taiwan’s renewable energy industry toward technological advancement and creating fresh momentum for market expansion.

Net-Zero Taiwan Accelerates Implementation of Net-Zero Technology

The global journey toward net-zero by 2050 has evolved from commitment to concrete action. Corporate competitiveness now depends not only on the scale of carbon emission reduction ambitions, but also on strengthening energy efficiency and building sustainable supply chains. Earlier this year, the Taiwanese government launched the Comprehensive Carbon Reduction Action Plan, initiating industrial net-zero transformation across all sectors through cross-ministerial collaboration and technological innovation.

This year’s Net-Zero Taiwan will once again bring together industry leaders including Formosa Smart Energy, Delta Electronics, Shihlin Electric, and HD Renewable Energy. The exhibition will focus on deep energy saving, energy integration services, circular economy, renewable electricity trading, and carbon reduction and negative carbon technologies. Additionally, cross-sector businesses in building energy efficiency, natural carbon sinks, carbon footprint audits, and climate risk management will participate to stimulate sustainability innovation through industry exchanges. This comprehensive approach showcases diversified net-zero solutions and creates a vital platform for accelerating net-zero technology development.

Early Bird Discount Available Until May 30 for Taiwan’s Premier Renewable Energy and Net-Zero Exhibitions

The 2025 Energy Taiwan and Net-Zero Taiwan exhibitions will feature not only renewable energy and carbon reduction technology services, but also the Net Zero Academy series of forums. These forums bring together experts from industry, government, academia, and research to analyze hydrogen energy trends and carbon management challenges.

Early bird registration discounts are available until May 30, and the exhibitions are expected to attract 28,000 domestic and international professionals. Businesses are encouraged to take advantage of this final opportunity to register and capitalize on low-carbon transition and strategic business deployment opportunities.
