Past the Arctic Circle, one degree at a time

Around 1% of Helsinki Airport’s electricity requirements are met by onsite solar installations, with plans underway for additional PV installations. With its aim of being carbon neutral, the airport meets the bulk of its electricity demand through wind power purchased on Nordic markets.
