The chart below shows the meteo station data (irradiance and ambient temperature) for October 2018 (the temperature and irradiance data are missing on October 31, 2018 due to an equipment malfunction).

The total monthly energy yield data and ranking for all products for the months from June to October 2018 are given in the table ‘Energy yield ranking’ to the bottom right. The bifacial products are steadily holding on to the top two positions, with the two Longi mono PERC monofacial products following in the third and fourth positions, and the Phono Solar product stabilized in the fifth spot.

New blood

Another bifacial mono PERC module from Longi (LR6-60BP-300M) was installed in the test field on October 26. In order to be able to compare on an equal basis the October yield data with data from previous months, the six day data for the newly added Longi bifacial mono PERC product were excluded from the table.

The yield data for the newly added product will be included in this table as soon as a complete month of data has been collected.

However, the six days of production of the Longi bifacial product were impressive, so we decided to chart the daily average energy yield data from October 26 to October 31 (‘Average daily energy yield’).

The Longi product performed very well in this short period. However, more data will be collected in the following months to verify its high performance.

The chart  ‘Total Energy yield’ shows the cumulative energy yield for all products from June to October 2018. Again, the newly added Longi bifacial product has been excluded, so that the comparison is meaningful.
