The Yingli Group Company Limited has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the Hebei Branch of China Development Bank (CDB). Under the terms of the agreement, CDB expects to grant credit facilities with an aggregate maximum amount of RMB 36 billion to support the company and its affiliates.

Germany-based ib vogt has been commissioned to undertake the factory design, planning and construction management for an Indian multinational company to build its first photovoltaics (PV) factory in Southern India. STR Holdings, Inc. has announced that the one gigawatt (GW) expansion of its Malaysian plant has become operational, in order to meet growing global market demand. The company has also announced it is to add a further one GW of production capacity, due to be installed during the third quarter of next year.
