???Sunways inverters with award-winning switching concept??

Share

Two components determine the output of a PV installation: the system made up of solar modules (solar generator) and the solar inverter. In order to feed DC from the solar modules into the public grid, it has to be converted to AC. This conversion results in losses. Sunways Solar Inverters offer efficiencies of up to 98 percent. The basis for this exceptional performance never reached before is a switching concept known as HERIC topology. The technology was developed by Dr.-Ing. Heribert Schmidt from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg, who recently received the Joseph von Fraunhofer Prize 2011 in recognition of his achievement. Compared with other solutions, the technology offers increased device efficiency resulting in higher output, less waste heat, smaller heat sinks, higher reliability and longer service life. ?

Sunways Solar Inverter NT 3000

The new NT 3000 complements the “New Technology” series from Sunways, which now comprises five single-phase solar inverters with output classes between 2500 and 5000 watts. The NT 3000 is designed for three kW PV systems, which are widely used in Europe. In addition to HERIC topology, all units feature an integrated DC load break switch and effective current flow management, plus advanced communication functionality (CAN bus, Sunways Browser and network connection) as standard. ?

Central inverters from the PT series as outdoor models

The Sunways “Performance Technology” series of central inverters with HERIC topology has just recently been complemented with respective outdoor models. Thanks to its intelligent design, the newly developed housing can withstand a wide range of ambient conditions. A robust mounting base keeps moisture away and offers convenient connection options. Here too, extensive communication functionality is included as standard. ?

Sunways iPhone App

The new iPhone App facilitates location-independent communication with solar systems from Sunways. It offers users mobile access to the Sunways Portal and connected PV systems. The Sunways Portal can be used to query status information of solar systems and analyse operating data. Any malfunctions can be detected remotely straight away.
