The photovoltaic system, which will have been entirely designed and installed by KRAFTWERK in just 7-8 weeks, spreads across 18,000 m2 of roof space. The buildings were previously used by the National Peoples Army (NDV) of former East Germany and now serve as a large warehouse and distribution center. KRAFTWERK secured the project rights. A private investor will own the PV plant.

Construction of the 3.3 MWp solar power plant commences on September 7th, 2015 and will be completed in October. The generated solar power will be marketed directly.
