BISOL realises 2.4 MW PV power plant in Czech Republic

Share

Buštehrad is the only PV power plant in Czech Republic and possibly Europe installed on such a demanding surface. Approximately 1,4 MW was installed at a 30 to 50 degree angle on a degraded land covered by rocks and metallurgical slag, which accumulated during the last 80 years. Zinc coated steel understructure had to be drilled deep through a thick layer of debris. Additional one megawatt was installed on flat land that had to be reclaimed from water. The PV system was completed within a period of 3 months. Guaranteed energy yield will be little less than 1000 kWh/kWp, which is at least 10 percent more than is typical for this geographical area.

With the realization of this technologically demanding and complex project, that no other contractor wanted to undertake, BISOL once more confirmed the reputation of superior service provider of the state of the art technology solutions that exceed the expectations of the most demanding clients. Investor in solar power plant, the largest Czech energy company, will be the owner of one of the few PV systems built on otherwise useless but extremely difficult terrain. BISOL, d.o.o.
