Clean energy for many households, long-term PPA
The Marknesse solar park will produce green electricity for approximately 7,850 households annually. Utilizing an east-west orientation of solar modules, the design maximizes land use efficiency and ensures optimal energy yield throughout the day. The installation comprises a total of 37,632 solar panels across approximately 14 hectares of land.
For the sale of the produced electricity CCE The Netherlands has secured a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Scholt Energy B.V., providing a stable and sustainable offtake for the clean electricity generated.
‘This PPA with Scholt Energy marks another milestone in the active commercialisation of our renewable electricity production. It shows how industrial partnerships can help stabilise energy prices – and at the same time enable the reliable integration of green electricity into supply chains,’ say Martin Dürnberger and Jörg Menyesch, Co-CEOs auf CCE Holding.
