With more than 40,000 systems installed worldwide, DEGERenergie is the global market leader for solar tracking systems.
Eneright technologies Ltd., is one of the leading distributors of inverters and solar modules in Israel, among other things. In this sector, the company has been cooperating with renowned manufacturers from Germany for years already. From now on, Eneright will also distribute solar tracking systems from DEGERenergie. For this purpose, Eneright technicians and installation experts will visit Horb to get acquainted with the global market leaders systems. At the Clean Tech 2011 trade fair in Tel Aviv (July 5th/6th), Eneright will present DEGERenergies MLD technology (MLD = Maximum Light Detection) to the public in Israel for the first time.
According to Christopher Seng, sales manager of DEGERenergie, Israel is on the edge of becoming a key market for the European photovoltaic industry. Our new partnership enhances the existing relations to our Israeli customers. It marks another step towards strengthening our commitment in this new market.
Thanks to Israels current feed-in tariff regulation, particularly medium-sized solar power plants with a capacity between 50 kilowatts and 12 megawatts are subsidized. Ilan Ron, CEO of Eneright: We expect that, by the end of 2012, solar power plants with a total output of about 300 megawatts will be installed in Israel. With DEGERenergie, we have gained a strong partner whose MLD technology will achieve outstanding results under local conditions.
The environmental conditions in Israel are perfect for solar energy generation, adds Christopher Seng. Thanks to higher solar radiation and highly reflective desert sand, our systems are even more efficient in Israel than they are in Germany. In comparison to tracking systems based on astronomical data, the MLD technology developed by DEGERenergie determines the current light conditions and thus also benefits from reflecting surfaces. The energy yield achieved can be considerably increased – a significant advantage of MLD.
