The discussion panelists included important representatives of the country's photovoltaic industry: Santiago Valdez, co-founder and CFO of Galt Energy, Roberto Capuano co-founder and operations director of Enlight representing solar installer companies; Yusef Kanchi cofounder
and commercial director of DMSolar as a wholesaler; Rafael Davila, territory manager of Enphase Energy for Latin America as a manufacturer; and Javier Romero, secretary of industrial affairs of the National Solar Energy Association (ANES).

As a collaborative forum between the panelists, moderator and attendees, the main topics discussed were: the solar market in Mexico, new regulations including metering schemes, financing, best practices and challenges for the industry. “The regulations have an expiration date, we have to work together, market and government, to keep them and that these changes can become permanent and beneficial to the industry in the country,” said Roberto Capuano.

Joining the event as a special guest, the undersecretary of competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy of Nuevo Leon, Mr. Gregorio Canales; He reinforced the state’s commitment to promote the use of renewable energy, since Nuevo Leon is the state which consumes the
most electricity with 7.4% of generation nationwide.

The Mexican distributor collaborates in projects of photovoltaic installers throughout the country, and with the expansion of the new distribution center, will now have greater coverage in the north zone of Mexico.
