Saarland, 10 November 2025 – Energieglück GmbH announces the successful acquisition of the asset management software PV Plus, which will now operate under the name Energieglück+. With this step, the independent battery storage project developer is establishing a second strategic business area and positioning itself as a technology partner for the entire renewable energy value chain. While BESS project development remains the core of the company, Energieglück is tapping into a growing market for intelligent asset performance management with its new AI division.
From project development to technology provider
The acquisition marks a strategic milestone for Energieglück: the company now combines the physical development of battery storage projects with digital plant optimisation. Energieglück+ is an AI-supported software-as-a-service solution that currently monitors and optimises PV plants in real time using a digital twin. The platform's existing customers include renowned energy suppliers.
The software delivers measurable results: through proactive fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance, Energieglück+ increases plant availability from an average of 78% to up to 98%. At the same time, the platform achieves a yield forecast accuracy of 98% – a leading figure in Germany, if not Europe, compared to its competitors. Yield gains of 15% and a 40% reduction in downtime demonstrate the economic potential of the technology.
