Sainty International Group today announced it would complete a 10MWp roof solar project by the end of 2011 in Siyang, Jiangsu, China.

This plant is Siyang project’s Phase II and it will surpass Phase I, a 4MWp plant built by GESOLAR, becoming China’s biggest rooftop solar power plant. Covering 126, 000?, this power plant will generate 268.77GWh over its 25-year lifespan by an annual capacity of 10750.9MWh and thus decrease the emission of CO2 by 273, 812.5 tons, SO2 by 2, 062.5 tons and Oxynitride by 706.25 tons.

This on-grid plant will significantly ease local power shortage and provide considerable economic revenues by selling electricity. GESOLAR will provide 41200pcs 240W poly modules which are certified by TUV and 10MW patented flat roof system mountings for the project.

Also, it will take part in the planning and constructing as one of the investors. So far GESOLAR has gathered round enough human, material and financial resources for the construction. ‘With successful experience from Phase I and technical know-how, we can build Phase II better’, said Stephen Tong, GESOLAR’s General Manager. ‘China is a big market we can’t miss and we hope to provide more clean energy for our own country.’ GESOLAR’s PV system products have been widely applied in residential, commercial and utility projects aboard.
