JinkoSolar tops global module sales in the first half of 2022

There are many reasons to support optimism for JinkoSolar in the rest of the year. Among them include the Tiger Neo the latest offering from the company which is posting strong results.

This N-type ambassador performed very well in demand and sales ranking in many countries during the first half of this year. For instance, it was the top seller in Europe and the Latin American DG market. In utility markets, Tiger Neo posted very good results too. For example, it was one of the bestselling panels in utility projects in China.

It is worth noting that with an estimate of over 10GW sales by the end of the year, Tiger Neo one single module is on track to secure a 5% market share globally by end of this year.

JinkoSolar Vice President Dany Qian said, “by 2023, N-type Topcon products will account for about 30-40% market share globally while 60-70% share in DG market specifically.” The statement was taken seriously by many in the media, especially when comparing that goal to reality: in 2022, four of the top five solar module makers started shifting towards N-type Topcon.

There might not be a consensus among analysts about this ambitious goal, though much can happen in two years. However, many of those analysts would strongly agree that N-TOPon leader JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo being a global best-seller in 2023 is quite feasible.
