The field assessment carried out by PHOTON Laboratory ranked MAP’s product above other crystalline panels. The details of the test will be published in October’s edition of PHOTON International Magazine. MAP’s ZN Shine panels were tested against 100 other solar panel brands. The products were measured for yield output in “real-world” conditions; three units of each model were installed in an open field, free from shadowing, facing south at a 28? angle. German based company, PHOTON Lab, has been conducting these tests since 2005. In the latest PHOTON test results for August 2011, MAP’s panels were ranked top among a strong selection of international brands; beating its previous record in July which saw it place second overall and first in the crystalline cell category for yield output. ‘ZN Shine solar panels contain Gallium Cell Technology. This unique technology increases the lifespan of panels and reduces the rate that the cells deteriorate over time. Consequently, ZN Shine panels offer 95% efficiency over 12 years and 90% efficiency over 25 years. This sets ZN Shine apart from its competitors who offer on average 80% efficiency over 25 years’ says Paul Wheeler, CEO of MAP Environmental. All ZN Shine panels are MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) and BBA (British Board of Agrément) approved. The panels are insured by AAA-backed insurance companies: Zurich Insurance, Power Guard, Solar Insurance and Finance, and Shanghai SP Insurance Brokers and come equipped with the best warranties available on the marketplace.
