New Conergy products at Intersolar 2012: Systems, services, solutions

In the future, the state will only subsidise 80 percent of the electricity produced by smaller rooftop installations. Customers will have to sell or use the remaining 20 percent themselves. So in the future, installations will have to be designed with a view to optimising own consumption. The EEG's additional degression will also increase the importance of reliable electricity yields and lifecycles in excess of 20 years.

Three-in-one: to meet these needs, Conergy uses top-quality components to create powerful complete systems from a single source. With its unique PremiumPlus guarantee, solar output insurance and a colourful array of supplementary services, Conergy offers its customers a one-stop worry-free package. These systems with added extras can be tailored to suit all sizes and all roofs, whether rooftop or roof-integrated, for private houses or industrial roofs. In the future, storage technology will also play a major role. The Conergy Sun Storage is currently being field-tested.

Conergy Complete 300 – all-inclusive, worry-free and not just a pretty face

Elegant in black or classic in silver-blue – the customer is spoilt for choice when it comes to colour. But system supplier Conergy offers its customers much more than just a good-looking roof. With modules providing peak output of 260 watts, the Complete 300 not only looks smart but also has some real power under the hood. It's also quick and easy to install. The modules can be attached to the special Conergy mountings single-handedly by just one person and without tools – a real one-man revolution. Guaranteed security is an added benefit – the Complete includes a monitoring and own consumption system, along with a 10-year fully comprehensive output insurance policy and our unique Conergy PremiumPlus guarantee. All-inclusive and completely worry-free – on the market from June 2012.

Conergy Complete 200 – the roof-integrated system in a "little black dress"

The Complete 200 outshines it when it comes to elegance. With this roof-integrated solution, the frameless black laminates are integrated into the roof to provide a roof covering that is both elegant and water-resistant. Click-on rails mean that the system is not only good-looking but also quick and easy to install. And the Complete 200 is also up there with its rooftop sibling when it comes to its service package. With the Conergizer, even the planning software can be supplied from a single source. Plan the installation well and you’re already halfway there. The system is available from the first quarter of 2012.

Conergy complete systems for industrial roofs – the all-in-one solution for flat roofs

The solar trend in Germany and the whole of Europe is to move onto the roof, whether it's small, large, trapezoidal, pitched or flat. Now for the first time, Conergy is offering a customised complete solution to meet the needs of commercial customers. This lightly ballasted complete system without roof penetration is ideally suited for use on foil-covered or lightweight roofs. Designed by an aircraft engineer, its aerodynamics and own weight ensure that it remains in position on the roof. The complete solution for flat roofs upwards of 30 kilowatts also includes all the necessary components for remote-controlled power reduction and monitoring and meets all low and medium voltage regulations. Its market launch is planned for late summer 2012.

Sun storage with intelligent energy management – Own Consumption 2.0

Last year, Conergy was already gearing itself up for the energy revolution. At Intersolar 2011, the system supplier introduced its prototype for the Conergy sun storage and with it, the opportunity for its customers to start their own nuclear phase-out. Using the sun storage the power of the sun can also be used at night, something which is a real plus especially in view of the latest EEG regulations. The sun storage is not just a normal storage, but also comprises inverter and an intelligent energy management system all-in-one. Its lithium-ion batteries last longer than three lead-acid batteries, providing long-life and above-average storage density, even with numerous charging and discharging cycles. The Conergy sun storage is currently being field-tested under real conditions. Its launch is expected for the 4th quarter of 2012.

SERVICES – TOTAL COVER, TOTAL SECURITY

Along with a long lifecycle, a full service package will be particularly important in future. Total security begins with safe and efficient installation planning, from shade simulations to electrical wiring, from structural analysis to profitability calculations. The portfolio of services is rounded off with extensive guarantees, fully-comprehensive insurance, system maintenance and technical and commercial operational management. Whatever happens, the installation will keep on working. In future this will be more important than ever.

The Conergy PremiumPlus guarantee: guaranteed security

Since February 2012, Conergy has been offering its unique PremiumPlus guarantee for its PowerPlus modules. In addition to a product warranty that has been extended to 12 years and a linear performance guarantee, it comprises some new, customer-friendlier warranty terms – and these represent not an empty but a fair promise made to the customer. In the event of a warranty claim, the PremiumPlus terms promise that Conergy will meet the costs involved in inspection and replacement up to a certain amount, guarantee the provision of a replacement module of the same type within the product warranty period, accept assessments by objective experts and allow the warranty rights to be transferred to a third party. This is all made possible thanks to the extremely low claims rate on modules that are manufactured in-house. This is well below 0.01 percent and is head-and-shoulders above the competition.

100 percent customer protection with fully-comprehensive output insurance: 10 years, up to 90 percent of yields

If it hails, you're covered. Too little sun, you're covered. Theft, delamination or degradation, you're covered. 10 years fixed term due to the insurance company’s contract termination waiver – an insurance with no ifs and buts. With Conergy's Premium Fully Comprehensive Output Insurance, the system supplier makes sure you are totally protected. The policy includes yield insurance that goes beyond the usual all-risks and breakdown cover. The latter already provides cover for external factors such as lack of sunshine, but the Conergy Premium Fully Comprehensive Output Insurancegoes still further. It protects customers for up to ten years from low yields caused by faulty components, faulty configuration, degradation or delamination of the modules and compensates for up to 90 percent of yields. It’s the perfect addition to the PremiumPlus guarantee to ensure investors get a good night's sleep.

Conergizer – from planning the installation to calculating the profitability

A solar installation needs to be well planned – after all, it's designed to produce clean electricity from the sun for at least 20 years, or possibly even longer, and in so doing produce consistently high returns to guarantee a sound investment. Plan the installation well and you’re already halfway there. Conergy's free planning tool, the "Conergizer", combines all the functions in one package. It works out for installation engineers all the details needed to plan a solar power installation: from graphic planning of module arrays on the roof through structural analysis of the mounting system to the electrical wiring and combining of individual components. Even potential obstacles on the roof can be taken into account when positioning the modules using the comprehensive shadow simulation. When calculating profitability, the new subsidies as well as various own consumption options are taken into account.
