Schletter Inc., a worldwide leader in solar mounting systems, announces plans to open a customer service facility in Hartford, Connecticut. The new location will house technical sales personnel, a full showroom and training facility, and will stock commonly used solar mounting components for distribution.
Though a relatively modest expansion for Schletter, the new facility will allow for a substantial improvement in the ease-of-communication between Schletters customers and the company with more local representatives available. The companys planned training facility will offer free NABCEP certified continuing education courses to its customers and allow for hands-on product installation demonstrations.
We are currently seeking new team members to add to our staff already in the area and plan to add eight new positions within the next quarter, states Martin Hausner, President of Schletter Inc. The new service center will greatly expand our current reach in the New England area and create more direct contact with our customers. With the ability to rapidly distribute components, and by offering installer training and a local service center, we believe our customers will see a marked improvement in delivery and service response times.
The Hartford, CT location will be the third Schletter facility in North America. Schletters Windsor, Ontario location also offers manufacturing capabilities for the complete solar mounting product line, technical sales, design and engineering, and customer training functions. The US company headquarters and its highly automated manufacturing capabilities are currently located in Tucson, Arizona.
