Vitol’s Vortex Energy commences construction of 110 MW of wind and PV solar projects in Poland
Vortex Energy, a leading renewable energy company in Poland has commenced construction of a portfolio of projects, including 53 MW of onshore wind and 57 MW of PV solar with a total equity commitment of approximately $123m. This is in alignment with Vitol’s commitment to deploy $1bn of capital in renewable energy in Poland over the next five years, as announced in January 2023 following its acquisition of Vortex Energy. All projects are scheduled for completion in 2024/2025.

Globeleq announces that it has completed a US$37 million (ZAR682 million) senior debt restructuring of its 11MW Aries Solar (“Aries”) and 11MW Konkoonsies Solar (“Konkoonsies”) plants in the Northern Cape of South Africa. Nomad Electric delivers first EPC projects in Portugal
Nomad Electric has initiated its first contract on the Iberian Peninsula, undertaking the construction of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) utility-scale solar plants in Portugal with a total capacity of 45 MWp. These installations are currently being constructed in the Pinhal, Santarém, Marmeleiro, and Alentejo regions.
