ACWA Power, the Water and Electricity Holding Company (Badeel), wholly owned by Public Investment Fund (PIF), and Saudi Aramco Power Company (SAPCO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Aramco, are pleased to announce the successful financial close of Al Shuaibah 1 and Al Shuaibah 2 solar PV projects which will generate an aggregate capacity over 2.6GW of clean electricity for Saudi Arabia.
Secursun starts construction of first solar parks in Germany
Secursun has started the construction of the first solar parks from its portfolio of around 1.1 gigawatts. In total, more than 50 utility solar PV parks will be completed between the end of 2023 and 2026. All plants will be planned and constructed by the Berlin-based project developer secure energy solutions and Sunotec, Europe’s market leader in the construction of solar parks. The two companies each have a half share in the joint venture Secursun.
