A research paper titled “Prospects of photovoltaic technology” authored by Li Zhenguo, founder & president of LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (also the principal of LONGi’s Central Research and Development Institute) was published in Engineering, an academic journal of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. In this piece, the author reviews the development scenario and future prospects of photovoltaic cell technology from the perspectives of development trends and application scenario extension.
