On May 25, 2025, at the UN Global Compact (UNGC)’s Inaugural Global Business Summit in Jakarta, a total of 24 global leading solar companies including JA Solar, Jinko Solar, Tongwei, LONGi, GCL Group and other core upstream suppliers, collectively released the initiative for “Global Solar Sustainable Alliance (GSSA)”.

Jinko ESS announced the successful signing of a 100MWh energy storage project with a key client in Greece. The project will deploy 20 sets of Jinko ESS G2 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage systems (configured for four-hour long-duration storage), distributed across 20 distinct project sites throughout Greece. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in mid-November 2025.

After more than a decade in development, the La Gineste solar farm was officially inaugurated today in the French municipality of La Tourette-Cabardès, Aude. Local  and regional officials, including Mayor Jean-Claude Pech, Alain COSTE, Regional Councillor Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée Jean-Pierre Bouisset, Vice President of the Communauté de Communes Montagne Noire, and Claude Bonnet, mayor of Martys, joined representatives from Q ENERGY and Velto Renewables to celebrate the commissioning of the 9 MWp installation.
