of cooperation that combines their expertise in solar energy and software

Scientists from the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Re-search in Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) are looking to use improved, self-learning algorithms to get a more detailed picture of energy flows in the electrical grid. A major research project was launched to this end in February 2017. These algorithms will serve to more accurately forecast consumers’ needs and the amount of electricity generated from renewables. Satellite data will also be used to improve feed-in forecasts. The results of the researchers’ efforts are to be tested and refined in power compa-nies’ grids.

The twin-island state Antigua and Barbuda has taken a leading role in terms of clean energy supply in the Caribbean. This leadership has now once again been strengthened through the completion of eleven sun2live and sun2roof solar installations on the small private island Jumby Bay in the north of Antigua by the renewable energy provider PV Energy Limited. The implementation of ground- and roof-mounted solar systems with a total capacity of 404 kWp represents a crucial step towards a sustainable and economic energy supply for the island.

Dulas is collaborating with multidisciplinary consultancy Cunnane Stratton Reynolds (CSR) to launch a complete solar ground mount service for the Irish market. The collaboration will see the two firms offer design, environment and planning expertise for schemes in the Republic of Ireland.

Solar energy company GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. (GCL-SI) completed a 200KW commercial rooftop project on Feb 14th, 2017 with Israeli energy company Enerpoint, one of the top international companies in solar industry. This project is the biggest commercial rooftop solar project in Tlalim so far.
