China’s leading light electric vehicle (LEV) li-ion battery manufacturer, Phylion, has successfully rolled out 10 million li-ion battery packs.

In 2003, Phylion delivered the first LEV li-ion battery from the product line. Growth in demand saw the sales figure reach 4 million in 2016 and 8 million in late 2018. The last year has seen the company sell more than 2 million packs, indicating tremendous growth in the EV segment globally.

Feng Xiao, chairman and president of Phylion said: “Making lithium-ion batteries is a work of conscience, we need to be very pragmatic and rigorous. Mistakes are not allowed because we are responsible for millions of users. Since our establishment, Phylion has made up its mind to focus on both quality and cost.”

With over a decade of experience in the li-ion space, coupled with several years of intensive research and development and an aggressive outreach program for industry stakeholders, Phylion develops new technologies such as an efficient after-sales app for online detection, and a vehicle-based intelligent service platform.

Phylion will continue to cultivate the global EV lithium-ion battery market and will expand its market base from China, Europe and India to the rest of the world.
